IPNS, as one of the component of SSM, with an approach "to farming involving management strategies for the maintenance and often increase of soil fertility for sustaining increased crop productivity through optimizing all possible sources (organic and inorganic) of plant nutrients required for crop growth in an integrated manner appropriate to each farming situation in its ecological, social and economic possibilities"1 was started in 2002 along with FFS conducted as its approach.
